Missed Black Friday?

I was busy looking for life insurance rates online, when I remembered that there's another sale coming up , and that's Cyber Monday - the monday immediately following Black Friday. I shopped a few items last Friday for hubby and myself , and would you believe , nothing for the kids ?! LOL! I should congratulate myself for not spending too much. Who said that only the kids can play with online game? Did you know that I still play games downloaded from the internet whenever I feel tired or bored? It gives me this excitement every time I play , so I feel more relaxed after. Last night, I checked some of my files and for some unknown reasons, a few gaming files were deleted. So I searched online for some new games that I can download. I am only into Casual Games Downloads , and im lucky enough to see a list of really interesting games. I downloaded most of the items found in the Top 10 list, since those are the ones recommended by most users. My favorite game so far is Diner Dash , and they have a new line of games that Im so excited to try. aside from the casual games, they also have some arcade games that I downloaded because my husband is into that kind of gaming.

Yes, another box for the kids again :) Aside from toys, it has some clothes and shoes that I got on sale, of course. It also has my make up set from Clinique and MAC. I even bought acne skin treatments for my cousin because it's a bit expensive here at the mall. I should really stop shopping, they have a lot already. Sale wont stop, so i better learn how to stop myself.

Hello Denver

My cousin in law recently went to the United States of America to work as a nurse. He is currently based at Denver , Colorado and works at one of the top hospitals in the city. When he arrived there, he sent us emails saying how he love the weather and the place itself. He had a few days to spend at the city before working so he made sure he was able to look around the place and rest too. He tried a few Denver Restaurants already that he saw from a magazine and he was never disappointed with the food. This week he started working already , so he still needs to wait for his day off to visit some malls for a little shopping.

I chose the Big Pony style and something that is not too plain colored. I also asked her to buy the same old style of Joaqui's favorite shoes ( just in different color) . We bought something for the little girl too. I wanted to buy one polo shirt for me too, but they have bigger sizes left. I am back to a smaller size already, and thank God I wont be needing Leptovox anymore. Maybe next time there's a sale again , I can grab something for myself.

Am I the only one here who haven't started yet with Christmas shopping? Before I even gave birth last October, I already made a gifts list for my godchildren, relatives , and friends. However, I got really lazy to visit the mall, so I ended up accomplishing nothing from my list. Time is running fast, and I realized , I should start buying now, because I can't finish everything with just one hop to the mall. * I met Kathy at MOA to deliver her goods. One happy mommy with all her loots:) Enjoy it girl!

* Me and my boys dropped by Bela's 3rd Birthday ( read: Eat and run) LOL! Okay, We arrived just in time , but Joaqui wants to go to Timezone with his dad so they left me with the MBAP's. Happy me. Chikahan to the max as usual with Jody, Joy, Jacqui , Mich and Apple . We have to leave after eating , since I just left Dominique with my sister, and we still need to visit the church and inquire about their baptismal. We also checked at some restaurants at MOA for baptismal reception.

* I also delivered the items of Joy :)

* We arrived home at 6pm after accomplishing a lot for that day. I so missed Dominique. I nursed her immediately after changing my clothes. And off she went to a deep sleep:)

* Now, I am working with a lot of tasks expiring in 30 hours while munching my all time favorite Cheeseburger Meal of Mcdo!

Shower Chairs

Two months ago, my husband and I made a trip to a medical supplies store to get a digital ear thermometer for my son. I made the most out of my time there, I looked around thinking of what else I can buy. So i got myself a first aid kit , breastfeeding pillow , carpal tunnel computer glove and some pediatric supplies. I even saw a shower chair in pink, and I showed this to my husband , since we want to get one for my mother in law who was then recovering from a heart operation. A shower chair will surely give her comfort and ease of movement during her shower. But I decided not to buy then since I wanted to see if its available online. And luckily I saw one on sale , plus the item ships for free. Such a steal!

Have you ever considered getting a course from a beauty school? Well, if you will ask me , that would be a YES. I always enjoy make ups and cosmetics, I usually buy a lot even if I don't use everything on a regular basis. Now that I am keeping a busy life, I hope I can still find time to experience how it is to be in the cosmetology field. Having enough knowledge and training is a lot different than just experimenting at home with myself. Do we have a reputable beauty school here , just like the beauty schools in wisconsin that I saw online? Before I even enroll myself, I want to read some reviews and feedbacks from students first.

Sorry for the lack of real life updates. I know you all understand how hard it is to have a newborn at home. Don't let me start talking about how sleep deprived I was during the first week. Yay! Im a walking zombie.

For the last 2 days though, I was able to take naps at midnight :) Dominique is sleeping well , but still she wakes up to nurse or when it's time for a nappy change. Joaquin is one excited brother until now. He likes to kiss and even carry the baby.

Though I feel tired everyday, I would like to finish most of my assignments, but I never thought it would be this hard. Having a tired body + blank mind won't get you working at the right pace. So i am taking a short rest now, I've been on IT job search for hours already, My mind needs a rest.

Playtime

There comes a time in our lives that we feel bored. Bored form doing nothing at home. Bored from work , or just plainly bored. I admit that there were times before , when I was still single that I look for some new things to try on. Sometimes , I keep myself busy with books since I am not really into watching TV. But lately, since I have 2 kids now, I actually look for some time alone, a time solely for me. It doesn't need to be for hours, I just need time for myself. One time , I spent it having a long warm bath, and a foot spa. But most of the times, I spend ME time surfing the internet. Aside from online shopping, I discovered the world of playing games online. A few hours of playing gives me satisfaction already, and I do hope I won't get addicted playing games online. I downloaded a few games from Golden Palace Casino. I play classic games such as roulette and slot machines. Would you believe that my mom and my aunt plays online too. Just like me, they don't play with real money, everything is just for fun, and I can say that we really had fun playing.

Almost everything can be done online nowadays. Who wouldn't enjoy the comfort of doing anything at the comfort of your home or anywhere else as long as there's internet connection? Let's Play

Aside from watching DVD's and playing with his PSP , my husband loves to play poker too. Would you believe that there was a time that he plays it online and would spend hours in front of the computer. Last year, one of his friends bought a Poker set and from then on, they would usually have their poker nights at least once a month. Until now, I still don't know how to play poker, so I bought our own poker chips and I asked my husband to teach me the mechanics of the game. Things maybe complicated during the first few games but Im getting there. I am even considering getting one of those Poker Tables that I saw online the other day. American Gaming Supply provides free shipping on all of their tables, and of course, everything is competitively priced. Do you think it would be too much to get one? For sure it will be used during parties at home, or even on simple nights when my husband would have a night with the guys. Anyone who has a poker table and can give me feedbacks? When will I have a good night sleep again?

I think I have to wait a few more months before I enjoy bedtime once more. Currently, I can't wait for Friday night since Gelo can look after the princess during night time while I catch some well deserved ME time in bed. He wakes me up though during nappy change :)

The princess is in Dreamland now, but Joaqui is wide awake playing at the PC. Oh well, this is LIFE :)

Goodbye Dorothy?

Remember Joaqui's aquarium and his 5 fishes?

It's now down to ONE.. Just one fish. I can't even take a picture of the aquarium because the water is not so clear anymore (madumi na talaga) , and that's the reason why Joaqui is not that obsessed anymore to feed the remaining fish. We got so busy after my delivery, I just wish we will have time this weekend to clean it and buy some fish too. Then that's the only time that I can take a decent picture again :)

Its a wagon.

It's november already, and I haven't started yet with a list for my Christmas shopping. You see, I am so busy now handling a newborn and a toddler, so buying gifts at the mall is really not the best option for me. I don't wanna bring them to crowded places so I am doing most of my gift hunting online. The Tickle Me Elmo toy would be one of my gufts for the little boy this Christmas, but I saw this really useful kids wagons online , and you bet, it certainly caught my attention.


They will surely have fun with this wagon. It can even fit 2 toddlers, perfect for my kids.

Car Benefits and more

I previously blogged about my husband's latest promotion at work, and it was so timely now that we are having another baby in the family. You know, a promotion means an increase in salary and additional benefits, not to mention additional workload of course. My husband is one workaholic person, so having that new responsibilities with work is fine with him. As additional benefits, he was given a some health insurance upgrade including not just for himself, but for me and the two kids too. He was given a flexible time to report too , something that I truly like since he can go to work a little late.

Yesterday, he attended an orientation about all of the benefits that he will receive, and he never thought that he will receive a Car allowance too. It's a vehicle reimbursement program for companies with mobile employees. He won't be given that big amount of money to get a brand new car , but the car benefit is a good deal already. We are still thinking of getting a van since we are a growing family now. I really admire the company's benefits program for their employees. They see to it that they get what they really deserve with the work that they are doing.

I never thought he would greatly respond with the arrival of Dominique, it was more than what I expected. He's just so proud of his baby sister. Truly a big brother now. When we arrived home last Wednesday, he was ecstatic to show off his baby sister to everyone. He wanted to sleep besides her at the bassinet :) And he was eager to show some of his toys to baby and asked me to bring baby at the playroom.

So far, so good :) Except that he kisses baby even when she's asleep .. and he moves freely so I have to tell him to be extra careful especially with baby's head. Other than that, everything is great!

Moving Again?

One of my cousins recently moved from California to New York because her recent company transferred her at the NY branch. She was telling me her stories during her first few weeks of stay there, and on how she adjusted with the New York way of life. She was also able to tour within the area already, and based upon her pictures, I know that she really had a great time being in all these places. She is still enjoying NY when her supervisor called and informed her that she will be transferred again to their newest branch at Boston. She got a bit sad after hearing the news, but since she will move to a new place, she got excited afterwards. By December , she will be in Boston and as early as now, she's looking for Boston Movers already. She already had a some stuff that he plans to bring along , and she badly needs help with packing, storing, moving and unpacking too. Of course, she wants to hire a company with great feedbacks from previous clients, and not to mention, affordable rates too. She already got an estimated costing online and she is happy with the information she got. Now I wish her luck in her new destination.
