I was busy taking pictures around the house coz I need to show this year's decors to my mom. Look at my boy, trying to imitate me with his own cheapo camera toy that we grabbed at Timezone. And here's Santa at the swing, just the same as last year , but with few new ornaments from my mom.






Finally, I was able to post some of our home decors :)

Fun with Pictures

Pictures are already a part of my everyday life. I may not post everything at my site, but I see to it I have everything saved at my laptop. I am actually looking forward to more photographs once I give birth. Babies and Kids are fun to be photographed because you capture their innocence and their emotions freely. But did you know that there are still other ways of making fun with their pictures ? Like putting a mustache, or make them like a butterfly because of their wings? How about making mom and dad a king and a queen with their crowns?

I recently discovered Imagination Station , a website full of free fun activities to let your imagination run wild with pictures. Once you sign in at the site, you have 3 options of printing your works, that is at home thru your Photosmart or Deskjet printers, Online via Snapfish and at their stores or kiosks at the mall. I tried it once with my son's baby picture when he was all bald, and i tried putting a wig on him. I love the outcome, it looks funny and outrageous. Better try this with your pictures, and see what more you can do with your shots.

This is my second picture for today. This is my shot a few months ago at gelo's place at Antipolo. Lola has a mini garden there, and if you are in photography, you will surely love her flowers and a few items like this siling labuyo. She even have calamansi and camote tops :) She's bicolana. That explains why sili is something major in every food. Expect Laing, and Bicol Express in every garthering. Her Bicol Express is H - O - T! As in! Flaming Hot! Inuubo ako after hehehe. The laing is something I learned to love. Yummy :)

Snapshots

I am getting myself familiar with Photoshop, since I wanted to try it for more rigid editing hehe. I am desperate to learn, so please help me out.. calling all Pros there hehehe..

I will post a lot of pics until the next two days maybe. I need fillers too. The hungry wolf is back in me. I have 12 opps in total, so I AM HAPPY. GIDDY HAPPY =) Big big smile on my face, with a dollar sign in my eyes, LOL!

Alpha's pictures were such an inspiration. Ang galing nya talaga :) Love her works. Her recent ones were flowers so I checked on my files to see if I have shots of flowers I can edit at photoshop. Luckily, there's a few good ones, hehehe.. Okay na ba?

Barney concert with no pics?

Is it true that we can't bring any camera at the concert? Goodness. I was talking to a customer agent from Ticketnet and she informed me that only cellphones with cameras are allowed at the big dome. Oh my! My cellphone is old school, there is no way I can get a good picture of Barney and his friends, not even a decent picture for us. We don't have plans of bringing our DSLR, i simply don't wanna risk, I can't leave it in baggage counters, no way. So I'm left with the option of bringing a digital camera. But I don't have one anymore, so I searched at the web to find a nice one. These digital cameras caught my attention.The colors are so me! Oh, I do wish that they will allow viewers to use point and shoot cameras. Pretty please!

A tamrac for us

At long last, I was able to get one and it will be delivered anytime tomorrow. We went to Greenhills yesterday to look for a Tamrac bag for our camera, but to no avail. We wanted to have a backpack type for or upcoming Bohol trip on friday! Woohoo! The camera would be placed at the lower part, while our handycam would be on the upper portion. I insisted of bringing the handycam because seeing Bohol in action is far different from the pics itself.

WISIWYS

I recently read at I-Mag Photography ( another reason why i frequent magazine stands) about the term WISIWYS.. ** What I Shot Is What You See**

It basically means that the photo is unedited. So here's a few to share. I used the Manual mode of our cam and experimented on some specs. ( i dont wanna sound geeky , LOL).. Basta.. here are my shots from Lola's Garden at Antipolo.

I am proud to say that there's no editing of any sort at Photoshop or Picasa ( hindi naman kasi ako marunonong pa mag photoshop hehehe).. oh well, i guess my eyes are made for photography.. HAHAHA! Yabang na 'to!!!

Show Day Fun

Its not fun at all here at blogger..

I am trying to upload a few resized pics here, but blogger is giving up on me again. Haayy.. My other opened sites are working well, so I can't blame Smart Bro for that.. :)

As i've said, Gelo had a total of 210 shots. Natakot yata sa akin.. I warned him kasi to take really good motion shots. And he did! He even tried out which camera mode to use before the class. I saw him taking pics of the gym, then he showed it to me..and said " ok na ba ganito lighting? parang madilim.." :)

I am happy with all your shots dad! congratulations to you too !

Gelo's photography skills is really improving. I commend him for that. Let me share with you a few of his shots at Lola's Garden. This is his fave spot in the house, since Lola has a green thumb, grabe, ang gaganda ng flowers nya. She has lots of orchids too at the side, next time i will take pics of that. I was asleep with Joaquin then, kaya these are all Gelo's shots..

Something about photography again.

JV, my sister in law's boyfriend, is also into photography. We are actually planning on taking up classes this august if time would permit.Here are a few of his shots..

Today is Papa's 40 days and we had a family get together at my inlaws' house at Antipolo. I will post some pics later this week.

For the mean time, take a look at these two shots of Gelo.. (proud talaga ako coz he is reaaallly immproving). i made a few edits at Picasa though, just to add some effect sa pics. ( im loving Picasa, so easy to use, kaya naman I dont have the effort to learn Photoshop)
