Plain Lazy

I think the weather is the reason why i am so lazy to do things lately. Its just too hot outside , so instead of going somewhere else , i would just confine myself in the four corners of our room with a full blast A/C. My kids cant take the heat too, they are so prone to allergies and asthma once summer kicks in. This is why the kuya had his flu vaccine at the pedia last week. SO far , it gives him a better resistance during hot days , especially on weather changes. Any plans today until the weekend? I bet you would also choose to just stay at home , coz a lot are spending their afternoons at the mall.

We had a great Saturday lunch at Shakeys. You can tell it with their faces. Iam happy that I brought along our camera. Moments like these are worth capturing. Its priceless.

Shopping freak

I can't wait for December to arrive. Aside from Christmas , of course, we are awaiting goodies from my family. They shipped 2 balikbayan boxes, and both are filled with stuff for the little boy. From clothes, shoes, toys.. name it! My mom is so gaga with his first and only apo, would you believe that when they arrived last April, Joaqui has clothes of size 4T and 5T?? ! OA na! Like what my dad said, hanggang grade 3 , may susuot na sya LOL! They always joke about my mom's shopping finds, they have to remind her that Joaquin is just a year and a half! Hehehe!

Ricca got us those fab items from Coach. And tons of items for Joaquin again. Her craziness led her to this ..



Would you believe that my daddy even shipped coffeemate, nesquik, Hersheys syrup, and our ever favorite Yuban Columbian Coffee? Hahaha! Amerikang - Amerika ah! Love it still! Yuban is not avail here I guess. This is the first time that they are shipping out groceries, so good luck :)

And lastly, we have a few "kalakals" there. I will post the items as soon as it arrives. Syempre, timing sa mga Christmas Bonuses nyo.. LOL!

Back to normal

Whew! How time flies.. It's just a few months away from christmas. But before I shop for any gifts for the season, let me the list down what I need to do this week... Joaqui's confinement for 6 days at UST mixed up my schedule, so I gotta catch up, or i'll be dead.

** PAY BILLS. Most are due on the 30th, so it's already the 2nd of Oct by tomorrow. Lagot!

** GROCERY TIME. Our fridge is almost empty honestly.

** BLOG AWAY. I need to catch up with my blog for updates and opps, and blog hop of course!

** LITTLE GYM. Call them for a make up class and be sure to bring a medical certificate. This is a special one since we already consumed the allowable 3 make up classes per quarter. Oh, and it's bring a friend once again this weekend.. who am i gonna bring?

** ARRANGE PICS. I owe my mom lots of pics already. LOL. I have a few shots to share here too. Better wait for that.

saturday traffic

Heavy. Really Bad.

We left the house early to make it on time at The Little gym a while ago, If im not mistaken, we have an hour and 15 mins before Joaqui's time at the gym when we left off. Gelo and I are still thinking of dropping by Mc Donalds El pueblo for our breakfast.

And that did not happen. We almost got stuck at UST for a really bad traffic. Good thing we were able to do a left turn before Espana. But still, its moving quite slow. We speed up at the New Manila area, Greenhills and Ortigas.. We arrived at the gym on time. On sundays, it would just take us 30 mins , but today, it's an hour and 15 minutes.. Oh and we left the house at 7:45 am.. that early and everywhere is traffic. My oh my!

We are really enrolled at the Sunday class, but today is a make up class for Joaquin, as he wasn't able to make it last week because of Elmo's birthday. I'm having a quick rest and i need to re energize. It's the little boys flu vaccination in a while, and we need to leave a little early because of the heavy traffic at the UST area.

Oh and one thing that made me happy today would be my two new long tops that i purchased at Dorothy Perkins.. another reason why I'm excited for Panglao. Im gonna wear it on Friday .. woohoo!

... woke up at 7 am
... went to my FIL's office at E. Rod with Gelo & Joaqui for legal papers to be signed 9am
... met my MIL and SIL there
... stayed till 1130
... dropped by MIL's place (MLA) , SIL will not go to work, and she has to change clothes
... went to the BDO at SM Manila , we met SIL's BF there
... Had lunch and bought a blank handycam tape for Joaqui's show day on sunday
... Bought Alarm Clock, our old one was busted by Joaquin. Ikaw ba naman ang ihagis ng ihagis at ipukpok araw araw
... Went to SM Makati. Gelo saw the tv chair that he so wanted. Asked for a red and black stock and said he will be back for that
... MIL Bought 2 electric fans for Lola at Antipolo. And a small one for Joaqui, when we go ot other places daw, who knows when you need it?! Boy Scout!
... Went to Globe for G cash
... Went to Glorietta, SIL gave Joaqui a Plouf. Cuteness!
... Looked for Jelly Shoes at the tiangges, i have a brown one already, no size for the transparent.. kakainis! ( one hour yata kami naghanap)
... Went back to SM. gelo and SIL's BF picked up the elec fans.
... We all stayed at the dept store
... There's a stock of the red/black tv chair, Gelo called, bibilin daw nya. we waited na lang sa dept store
... Joaqui played at the kiddie area with study table and books.. napabili pa tuloy ako ng crayon at barney coloring book
... napa ikot na din sa Ladies dept, sale ang triumph, grab na din sa sale kahit isa man lang
... had dinner at Jollibee Quirino cor Osmena Hway
... SIL went to Levis Outlet Store.. ang jeans 850 na lang!!!!
... Nag fit ako ng nag fit hanggang may mag kasya sa kin.. alas! lucky me :) I had it altered, "back to original" was 80 only, not bad.
... DONT ASK FOR MY WAISTLINE... hahaha!
... Dropped off MIL at her place, and switched back to our car ( we used their van kasi)
... Joaqui was dead tired then.
... Nagising pag dating sa bahay... browsed his coloring book. Changed to Pj's, dilat na dilat, naglaro.. nagkalat.. nag milk.. tulog ulit!
... Si gelo??? pumasok sa office kasi hindi sya pumasok ng umaga hahaha! kakatawag lang., he arrived safely naman.
... at AKO?! ito, parang walang nangyari, nakuha ko pang mag blog!

Gotta sleep now.. dalawa na tingin ko sa monitor hehehe..

yeah, it is indeed.

If only i can lounge all day and have a day off in being a yaya, LOLz...And coz of the weather, we are having crispy fried chicken wings and a cream of mushroom soup. Sarap ng soup pag umuulan.. can't wait for lunch hehehe :)

i feel better now. my throat is getting back to its normal state i guess.. being not too swollen just like the other day.

Oh, and i am awaiting my items from an online store at multiply , Dindy & Mitmit.. Goodness, im getting hooked with it!

It was my SIL, Love, who introduced me to multiply online shopping.. shoping could never be this easy.. hahaha! Since i dont have time to go the mall on weekdays, to actually look for my stuff (kasi pag nasa mall din kami, Gelo will make face if i try to enter shops , hahaha), ayan, new found haven for me. Paying is easy too thru gcash. Shipping fee ranges from Php 65-80 for manila. Not bad, kasi if il go the mall, how much the gas? parking fee?.. tapos we will eat merienda, lunch or dinner pa.. ( sige, i defend ko daw ito.. baka kasi nagbabasa si Gelo , LOLz)

But still, during weekends, a trip to any mall would make it complete ;) Ibang usapan na pag weekend.

happy monday

I actually hate mondays. Coz its a start of a long week.. and it would just be Joaqui and me the entire day.. Boring and most of all tiring.

But today, Gelo is on a leave. Woohoo! How nice to wake up on a monday morning with daddy still in bed. We had Sopas (from our visit to Lola at Antipolo yesterday) and Pancakes for breakfast. And it was Gelo who cooked the pancakes.. sweeeeett!!! Napa isip tuloy ako, baka may kasalanan to ah?!?! LOlz.

We are hitting the mall after lunch for a haircut.

And as I'm typing this, i am bursting into laughter, because our little boy is doing the "number limbo" dance from Barney. If you are a Barney mom, you should know it by now, hehehe :)

Whoah ! What a happy monday morning.. hope everyday is like today hihihi!

seriously contemplating

I've been doing a lot or research over the net about asthma. Well, if you are reading my blog for quite a long time, you know by now that I am asthmatic. My son is asthmatic and Gelo was asthmatic then.

Even before I gave birth, I have a strong feeling that Joaqui will be asthmatic. I was right. His pedia is a pedia-pulmonologist at UST. Dra. Clara Reyes Rivera is now a Board Member of the Assoc. of Phil. Pediatric Pumonolgists. I know that my son is in good hands. Though he would often times visit doctora, ok na din. His attacks never led to hospital confinement. Only once last January, because he had high fever too.

It's not easy having an asthma....Especially for babies and little kids.

Joaqui had his 1st attack at 4 months old. Gelo and I were awake 24 hours. Imagine the burden for the parents too. He would sometimes take a leave from work if Joaqui has major attacks then. Thank God. Now, lesser attacks, mostly allergic rhinitis, hindi naman nag progress into asthma.

Now why am i saying these things?

Because I wanna help babies, kids and their parents. I am planning to have a website for "asthma free kids". Seriously.

I am still finding a way to put it up, with the help of other moms maybe. If you are interested, please let me know.

It takes a lot of knowledge to fight asthma or To fight an attack, or better yet, to control it.

I have lots of ideas, like toys for asthmatic babies/kids, pillowcases, pillows, blankies, house cleaning stuff. Haayy, madami kasi bawal sa hikain. Even proper way of telling people not to give your babies stuffed toys ( or anything na bawal so its not offensive or OA naman).. i wanna share and discuss it with other moms ( and dads). ideas..ideas...ideas..

So there, wish me luck :) I will also ask help from Joaqui's pedia. Together, let's fight Asthma!

BALD

I forgot to write about Joaqui getting bald before my dad left. It was last April 21 when we had him "scrubbed" at The kids hair salon. At first, he was having a great time driving the car and watching Barney, but when the razor was switched ON, ayun.. todo iyak na.. haayyy ayaw talaga to the point na inaalis na nya ung hand ng barber..It's a good thing that i had his hair done here, the barber is sooo good that he ended it up fast and really nice ha. Oh, and never wonder why we had him bald.. hahaha! old beliefs na pag manipis buhok, dapat kalbo para the next set of hair to grow would become thicker na.. i hope :)

ANGEL BOY

Last Saturday, my cousin in law Ate Lyn gave birth to a healthy, adorable little boy that we call "ANGEL BOY". It was his Ate joreen that gave him that name.. cute! hehehe! (but that is not his real name). Congratulations Ate Lyn and Kuya Joeff !!! And to our dear Angel Boy, welcome to our family.. We love you !


VRROOMM

Gelo and I recently noticed that Joaqui is getting fascinated with our car's steering wheel. One time, on our way to St. LUke's to visit my FIL, we sat at the passenger seat (for a year we always stay at the back seat, and i miss sitting besides Gelo, LOL) and Joaqui would really move his body to get unto Gelo's lap. I tried giving him toys but to no avail.. he would still prefer to "drive".. and so it happened again when we went to MOA, and tonight when we had dinner. I even placed his toy steering wheel at the car but he would still prefer the real one hehehe :) haay boys will be boys


EASY MONEY

Before my mom left, we bought a few (already made) necklaces at 168.. those chunky type, layered ones ladies wear nowadays. I also bought some chrams and had it hand made by ME! (I was so much into designing accessories before i got married and i earned a lot from this). I made a set of necklace with bracelet which was pre ordered by my sis.. then a few bracelets of semi precious stones. and guess what, it was sold out! hahaha! talk about easy money. LOL! Sayang wasnt able to take some photos. Wish i can go back to that hobby :)
