I previously blogged about my husband's latest promotion at work, and it was so timely now that we are having another baby in the family. You know, a promotion means an increase in salary and additional benefits, not to mention additional workload of course. My husband is one workaholic person, so having that new responsibilities with work is fine with him. As additional benefits, he was given a some health insurance upgrade including not just for himself, but for me and the two kids too. He was given a flexible time to report too , something that I truly like since he can go to work a little late.
Yesterday, he attended an orientation about all of the benefits that he will receive, and he never thought that he will receive a Car allowance too. It's a vehicle reimbursement program for companies with mobile employees. He won't be given that big amount of money to get a brand new car , but the car benefit is a good deal already. We are still thinking of getting a van since we are a growing family now. I really admire the company's benefits program for their employees. They see to it that they get what they really deserve with the work that they are doing.
