Be Prepared

Just this week, another strong typhoon hit our country and so many places were left affected. Power was cut in our area around 10 am and we had electricity back at 10pm! Thank God I am prepared for this kind of situation after experiencing one a few years ago. I have some canned goods, rechargeable fan and light, emergency bag , extra batteries etc. It is always best to be prepared for this kind of situation especially when you have kids. I made sure that our emergency bag has some food for them and their milk as well. In any case that we need to leave our house, I can provide them with food. These typhoon experiences are getting traumatic. I also have this paranoid feeling when strong winds and rain hit our place. I experienced flooding inside our house , and I surely wouldn't want to experience it again. Let's all be prepared. I heard there's another typhoon this weekend.

Road Accidents and more

I recently received a sad news that my cousin got into a car accident last month. He hit 2 cars in front of him and all cars got some damages. Thankfully, no one was badly hurt and there are only minor bruises. They were released from the hospital that same day after the bruises were treated. The Medical Emergency Assistance arrived at the scene of the accident shortly after it happened. It really pays to have Medical Assistance coverage , he was provided with first aid treatment and they can even go to the extent of medical air evacuation when things gets serious. Now, my cousin is living the normal life again , and his car looks good again after the repairs.

New sunglasses

It seems that our place has the summer weather all through out the year. I really can't stand the heat even in the morning when I bring my son to school. When I pick him up after school, it becomes too unbearable that our car's air conditioner is set to number 3 . Sometimes the sunshine really hits my eyes too, thank God that I have my sunglasses on. It protects me from damaging rays of the sun and it also helps me from my driving because the glare somehow distracts me. I would love to buy the Aviators but I really don't have the budget now so I just used my dark sunnies for protection. I will try to check out the replica sunglasses, it might have something like the aviators at a cheaper price.
