A Surprise Party for Mama

It was my MIL's surprise party last Friday, and it was a success !

A month before her birthdate, Gelo, Love (my SIL) and Moi planned a surprise dinner party for Mama. We reserved the private area of the Lamesa Grill at MOA last Nov 30 at 6pm, Friday, though her birthday was on the 29th. We thought of the 30th being a holiday , plus its a friday, so may fireworks sa MOA :) babaw! hehehe :) True enough, family and a few friends arrived on time.

We first went to Robinsons place manila before MOA. I need to pick up my Sanfo Treats Caramel apple while they stayedat Rustans. My sister said that she needs to buy shoes there.. Palusot lang. Then I said I need to go to the CR muna.. I picked up my orders then kept, everything at our car's compartment. After that we went to MOA na. Since we have the 30 caramel apples, Gelo acted that he would just drop us at the entrance and find a parking slot. BUt honestly, he called Lamesa Grill's manager and handed the apples to him.

My family (gelo, Joaqui, Ate alma and Moi) was with Mama the entire time, she was so clueless, we even bought a washing machine, LOL! Come 5 pm, she got hungry already, and since most restos are full, and we arent supposed to eat much to save up for dinner, we opted for Breadtalk. Yes, we had bread and water for snacks LOL.

I was texting with Love all the time. She and BF JV went to Antipolo to pick up Lola and some cousins too. On our side of the planet, we went to Timezone and to some other shops for window shopping. At 6pm, Mama got tired and decided to sit at the Bowling Center which is quite near the Resto Strip. Actually I was at Crocs at first, but i instructed Gelo not to stand there, because there is a big chance that they can bump into some guests So they decided to rest at the Bowling Center. While Mama was busy looking at Joaqui who was running around then, Gelo called Love and informed her to get ready because we are arriving in a few minutes. I got nervous a bit.. how will things turn out?

At 6:30pm.. we left the Bowling Center and decided to have dinner ... Everything was perfect.. We casually walked our way to Lamesa Grill. The reserved area was closed and we enter at the door near the cashier/ washroom. And there!! Surprise!

** the room was a bit dim at first. Mama was so shocked to see some familiar faces and even said "bakit nandito kayo?"**

We were surprised to know that Gelo's titas even have a signature frame for Mama, plus a simple program where her brothers and sisters greeted her.. it was touching.. I was teary eyed :) Mama was in tears , as in.. Gelo even said a few words, he didnt cry though, he was very happy, and he gave us an assurance that Papa was there with us.. and Papa's happy too :) I know, Papa is one of the reasons why Mama is crying then. This is her first birthday without Papa.
