a little bit of everything
i know, lately im negligent of this blog. actually tinatamad nga ako mag update hehehe. but on the contrary, i am planning to transfer and try out wordpress.. hmm we will see...

ON JOAQUI
- what more can i say? he is growing really fast (And quite big for his age as people would always tell us)he is getting more adorable (of course, baby ko yan. love your own! hehehe) oh.. and he knows a lot of things. some the usuals like close-open, clap hands and this is what i enjoy the most.. he would point and actually touch your navel when asked to. you just need to show a small part of your tummy and say the magic phrase, "where's my navel? point at my navel..", and there, he would do it to the point of tickling you. Smart baby! Just like mommy =)

ON ME
- i am still working on his birthday preps though i had sore eyes since friday. oh yeah , i am the carrier in this house. and guess what? two days ago, i had cough, which later on turned out to be worse coz i dont have my voice til now. and to top it all, while watching grey's anatomy , i had a hard time breathing coz i have a clogged nose. whew! and did i tell you that i am sick? grabe na talaga. good thing gelo is on leave...

ON GELO
- and why is he on leave? NAHAWA ng sore eyes! HAHAHA! he soooo wanted to have sore eyes the moment i had it. his office is so strict when you are infected with it so he was sent home last monday coz it was pretty obvious that he is so infected. he would be back on monday i guess. ... oh and he is getting hooked with grey's anatomy , we are watching the 3rd season already. but of course, his passion for anything anime would forever be there.

ON MY FAMILY
Yipee! My mom, My dad and my sis ricca all have their tickets! Dad will arrive on the end of march. While Ricca and mom would arrive on April 9. My sis was only given a 2 week leave from work. She had 2 weeks of leave na kasi last year when my grandma died and she went back here. tapos 2 weeks pa sya at LA with my cousin. But still its OK. As long as we are complete during Joaqui's birthday.. cant ask for anything more!

Of course, makakalimutan ko ba yun? Everything is still under my written schedule. Im so used to working in a sched. i wont function without it i guess. and mind you, i stick to it. hehehe =) i already made major downpayments. we are done with his pictorial at the picture company for his birthday materials. cant wait for the pics... he surely rocked our world with that amazing pose and stance ! and i am set to meet the photographer on the 3rd week of feb. i started shopping for prizes, i guess il be needing another trip. =)

joaqui at 9 months
i know.. its been almost a month (again!) before i had a new post. hehehe! but i always read other's blogs, its just that im too tired to write my own. =)
so here.. i wanna brag (este blog pala ) on joaqui's development now that he is 9 months old:
** sits unsupported (from any position, at straight body sya ha )
** works his way to get a toy or a celfone that's out of his reach
**looks for dropped objects and tries to act like he wants to pick it up though he's on his high chair
**pull up to standing position from sitting
** stands firmly when holding onto someone or something.
**crawls soo fast, kaya muntik na mahulog from bed. thanks to our bedside table.
** has 7 teeth! and another one about to erupt. the first 2 (lower) erupted when he was 6 mos old. then on his 7th month, 4 (upper)erupted all at the same time. when he was 8 mos old, another 1 on his lower gum came out.
** cries and makes a paawa face when u take away a toy from him
** says mom mom, dadad, papapa, bababa, tatata and atetete (referring to my niece joreen)
** loves to make gigil when u say gigil joaqui .. grinding his teeth, naninigas arms and legs! cute!
**picks up anything and puts it in his mouth
** still loves peak a boo!
** knows how to wave bye bye, clap, and close-open his hands when asked to
** barney addict. period.
** can hold a biscuit but i dont let him feed himself yet hehehe
** eats mostly veggies and fruits, though not that much of a takaw baby. but he is still so much into his milk.
** enjoys it when i brush his teeth, gums and tongue
** knows where baby Jesus is at the altar. he will look at it when asked where baby Jesus is. im stil teaching him to put his hands together and pray. =)
** makes a pacute face when he sees a bright light especially yellow lights.
** and a lot of people say that he is tall for his age. hehee he is not a chubby baby (he is asthmatic kasi) though his weight is in the normal average range. he wears clothes of size 12 -18 months hihihi
theres still a lot more that i wanna share. i guess this is all because i spend every minute of the day with him =) i know and i am with him whenever he accomplish anything at every stage. Nothing compares seeing him reaching new developments in his life.
truly i am so grateful to be a stay - at home mom. this is the best job in the world. i work 24/7, and get no pay. but the rewards that come with it are worth so much more than all the money you could ever get your hands on.

although its been said....
oh yeah i cant believe it that its almost a month now that i dont have an entry here. im online almost everyday but i dont have the time to post here. i would usually check my mail, chat with my mom or my sis, check my multiply account and friendster too. and before i even write something here, gising na ang little boy ko. so here, for more chicka.. just read on....
** my father in law had an emergency operation last dec 4, so we flew to iloilo with joaquim in tow. officially, that was his first air travel. i will try to post a detailed story of that trip. pag hindi ako tinamad.
** i love our decors... woohoo! i conceptualized everything, and our christmas tree has bumblebees. hehehe i got addicted with it since joaqui's baptism. since its the first christmas that we have a baby at home, i wanted our tree to have a kiddie theme =) i dont have my digicam for now, pics to follow.
** our aircon and water pump is busted! how miserable life can be! good thing hindi na ganun kainit. repairmen coming tomorrow
** im preparing a simple dinner/ nochebuena for us. and for my inlaws too. they will arrive on the night of the 24th from iloilo, so my mother in law doesnt have much time to cook pa. il prepare fettucine carbonara, garlic bread, fried chicken and gravy, all time fave HAM for christmas, and for dessert still thinking of oreo cheesecake or fruit salad. gelo received the grocery basket with a complete materials for the fruit salad so i might as well use it. hheheh
** im gathering thoughts (and writing it down) for what 2006 gave me and my family.pero syempre the death of my lola would also be a part of it.
** im quite excited and sad this coming monday. excited coz it's joaqui's first christmas, but im sad too coz its the first christmas morning that we dont have mama. for 26 years, i wake up seeing her either at the sala or kitchen during chrismas mornings. i will definitely offer a prayer for her as soon as i wake up.
** will spend christmas (lunchtime) at my inlaws, since my sis would be on duty then. we will pick her up at 3pm at UST. haayy how time flies and after 7 days, new year naman.
