After I dropped off my son at school, I usually spend lunch at the nearby restaurants. If i still have some time, I go to the supermarket for some quick shopping for things we need here at home. In 2 and a half hours, I can really be productive and even attend to some errands. At the supermarket, it is very helpful that they do have express lanes for their customers, and now that all checkout counters are using symbol barcode scanner , paying is a lot easier. It saves time not only of customers but the cashiers as well. They can accommodate more paying customers at a short time. Even banks use a certain bar code now when you are paying for your bills too.
