Anniversary Gift

My husband and I will soon be celebrating our 3rd wedding anniversary, and he is asking me what would I like to receive for this very occasion. And I honestly told him that I saw this Braided Band Ring online and I fell in love with it. I even signed up for their mailing list, because once you sign up, you will be getting additional 20% off the price. Wow! That's really big savings for us. They still have a lot of jewelries to choose from, but I'm really settled with the ring since he already gave me a necklace last Christmas.

We are off to the mall this afternoon and I plan to catch SATC later tonight. Im too excited to see the movie after seeing Carrie's Eiffel Tower Bag .. LOL I also wanna see Charlotte in her maternity clothes. Hope to watch it later.

Long Hair for Me

It's been a long time since I sported this hair do. When I was young , I used to have a long hair and I remember my mom buying me headbands, ponytails and all the hair accessories you could imagine. Before I got into my senior year in High School, I decided to cut my hair this short. And eversince then, I never grew my hair any longer. I enjoyed having a short hair because it's easier to maintain. But lately I have seen a lot of actresses who had hair extensions. Today it's short, and tomorrow, voila! Long as you imagined it to be. I know it's a bit tedious procedure, but there's also what they call clip in hair extensions nowadays. After knowing about this revolutionary hair technology, I am really considering trying out a new hairstyle. I am still on a lookout for a perfect salon that could give me this service a t a good price, with the best outcome of course, not to mention the safe procedure too. So, will a long hair look good on me? Hmm.. let's see.It's been years since I have this and having Human hair extensions is really worth trying. I just hope I won't look slim if I will try that style. And I also need to ask my OB if it's safe to have this procedure while I'm pregnant.

Almost June

Weee.. Its almost June and Im on my 4th month already. Sa wakas, first trimester is officially over and Im doing really good. If I would compare to this to my previous pregnancy, this one seems to be fast, though not easy . I just hope and pray that baby and I will continue to have a good health. And I cant wait to have an ultrasound.. im dying to know if this will be a boy or a girl.. my tummy is getting obvious now, except for my collar bone, arms and face, still looks normal for me. I dont have a pic yet for my 4th month, maybe this weekend when we go to the mall.

Silver as the next investment

Still with the topic of investments. My sister recently told me about buying some gold or silver coins online and having it safely deposited or kept in a bank. Well, that seems to be a nice idea since a silver coin is getting in demand in the market nowadays. Who knows, maybe if I will buy some today, I can later on sell it a higher price since it's not depreciating. In case you are wondering, it's not just gold that is doing good in the industry but silver as well. If i Wont be selling the silver coins, then I can just keep it for future use, like a gift for my dad who loves to collect coins.

Work out mode

For the longest time, Gelo's really trying hard to lose weight. We started by buying healthy food that he can have for dinner like garden salad, healthy juices, tuna and the likes. It worked for a few weeks, but lately he's out of his health buff mode again. Look at this picture from our vacation last March.


He is really gaining weight again, that is why he decided to check out an elliptical last weekend at the mall. I do hope this will really help him shed even just a few pounds. I don't think this type of body is healthy for him.

Saving for the future

I have been doing some budgeting tasks lately since we are faced with some major expenses for this year. So far, everything is still under our limits but I still wanted to save for some more , because we might enroll my son in preschool by the second half of the school year. I am thinking of putting up another savings account that I can easily monitor online since I don't have time to go to the bank.

Have you heard about WaMu? At the website, you can create an online Savings Accounts and receive great rates on your money. I hate standing and waiting in line so I really think this suits me best. They also offer some services like Statement Savings, Online and Traditional Certificate of Deposits and some that I am still not familiar with. The Online Savings Account is what I am most curious about so I will try to read more about it. I will also ask my sister who works on a bank on how does online savings account goes and if its really safe to have one. I am thinking that this is the best option for me since I am so busy around the house and I hate waiting in line while at the bank. For other mommies out there, why not give this one a try too? It's fast and easy.

My mom and my sis ordered this one from a catalogue, and they never had an idea how big it was. Wala na nga lugar sa maliit naming sala LOL. The car can be filled with water ( like a swimming pool) and 3 of Joaqui's cousins even joined him inside. This one really keeps him busy and occupied.. he keeps on telling then..."Joaqui's car.. Joaqui's car"....

Need Money?

Being pregnant is truly a blessing, and what adds more to that is having a very supportive family. Just like my first pregnancy, I had a hard time with this one again and I visited my OB for a few times. Unfortunately , maternity expenses isn't covered in our health card. Now I am thinking of other possible ways to have extra money when I give birth since I already have a toddler who will soon be a pre-schooler. Since I am not working at the corporate world, and I only have a simple work at home job, I opened the idea of Online Payday Loans to my husband. My Thoughts

I remember from way back, I was so much into writing my daily life in a diary. Even when I was already in college, I still have a diary with a lock, LOL. Until now, I am so much into writing not just my daily life but my thoughts as a mom and as a wife. I think maturity has set in somehow now that I am a bit older. I am keeping blogs because I wanted to share what I know and what I have. I also try to document and put into writing (with picture and videos) my life now as a mom. Who wouldn't love to do that right? With the blogs that I have currently, I gained a lot of friends, really good friends I should say , and I thank heavens for that.

I still wanted to create a new Blog solely for my soon - to - be two kids. Have you heard about Thoughts.com ? There you can create a free personal blog , and of course, you can upload photos, videos, podcasts etc. They are even running a 'Thoughts Writing Contest" now. I have also seen a news bar at their main page. I am really thinking of putting up another personal online journal for my kids because writing has always been my form of release, whether I am happy or sad. Let's see if I still have the luxury of time to do that.

Weekend to-do list

Now that I am feeling better, I need to do some stuff left hanging over the last few weeks. Here's my list:

* Arrange Joaqui's clothes. Keep those that can still be used and give away some items to my cousin's little boy.

* buy lots of new hangers for the little boy's clothes

* have some pics printed.

* help my MIL with some metal roofing . They need a new one especially its raining lately.

I dont wanna force myself yet to do a lot of things since its only been days that i am totally OK.. I still wanna rest and sleep coz of the bed weather.

Cook is my Idol !

He won!!! I was shouting and clapping the whole time.. And teary - eyed too! Call me OA or whatever but I really dont care! David Archuleta may won him over a knockout during the last performance night.. but David Cook is still THE AMERICAN IDOL !

Ok ok.. i like Archuleta too, mas gusto ko lang si Cook.. He has this charm.. and he can sing a ballad, rock.. and do arrangements of his songs too.. such a talent! I love him when he dares to create his own version of songs...

How I wish I was able to watch him perform live and see his triumph. Gawd, I'm gonna be at my best and wear my best designer jewelry as my lucky charm, LOL. Just kidding!

I am Back !

And im hoping for the best that I will update my sites regularly from now on.

I have a lot of stories and pictures to share with my pregnancy, with Joaqui and my sister's vacation here in Manila. No shopping yet for me, LOL. Since it was Gelo who maintained my site, and he earned a lot i should say, our paypal account is on hold. I AM NOT ALLOWED to do any shopping. LOL. So i need to get my groove back and do my tasks so I'll earn well enough for my shopping.

I miss everyone. I sometimes peak at some of your blogs but im just too lazy to comment. But still, I thank everyone who visits my site.. kahit na walang laman masyado.. LOL...

Weight loss!

Dream Ride

Me and hubby had a little chat last night about what else can we do in our life. Some of it of course are dreams that are not impossible to reach. For me i want to have our own house and of course plans for joaqui and the second baby. We both acknowledge that, but also kidding aside he wants to experience a private jet charter. I said wow this will be great but of course you need to have lots of extra money to do that but for our case we don't. So, we must be satisfied with our own ride first...of course our car!

Birthday party of Joaqui

I know it's very late but here are some pictures of the birthday party. There were so many people who celebrated the day with us. They also gave good comments on the party invitations. My son enjoyed it very much, and we will definitely party again when #2 baby comes. But of course, it still daddy's decision.

drug rehab

Do you know someone who needs drug rehab? Maybe it's about time to help them. There are so many institutions that are willing to help them, some are for free and some are expensive. But at times like this and if our loved ones are involved our emotional support definitely very much needed. Family support is the best gift we can give at a time like this.

Diet

My hubby is currently is on a strict diet regime. My sister advised me to check out a brand her officemate uses, since she has seen great results on just taking up this Orovo diet supplement. She also said at first she was skeptical on the weight loss of her friend, but she was assured that it was really due to this diet supplement.

New eyeglasses

My sister bought some new eyeglasses since it's much cheaper here. She bought two new sets of eyeglasses. At first, she only plans to buy only one, but when she arrived at the store, she was amazed that she has lots of design to choose from. Thus she was able to buy to sets of eyeglasses and also she plans again to go back to the store so that she can buy some for mom and dad.

She's coming home!

My sister is coming home, we'll fetch her tomorrow morning at the airport. I'm so excited since it's almost been a year since she came home. Part of the excitement is the ipods she bought for us. In return we'll have to treat her out to her favorite restaurant. She missed the filipino recipes specially the crunchy sisig of gerry's grill. We'll treat her to lunch tomorrow.
