It was my daddy's birthday last Monday, and it was only today that I was able to get a gift for him. Well, he told me not to bother getting him a gift, as my kids are his treasures now. But still, I feel like I should give him something on his very special day. I bought him this boots from caterpillar that is so perfect for his work especially during the cold weather.

She's getting taller

Many people noticed that my little girl is growing taller. She actually looked slimmer now, but her weight did not drop at all. Pediatrician said that she grew a few inches, that's why. Her everyday activities also contributes to her figure now. She is one active girl, I'm telling you. I initially thought that she won't grow that tall, but I decided to learn more and read about kids and their growth from 1 year old and beyond. Now I know that it is natural to lose some weight since she is in her growing years. But of course, her constant monitoring with her pedia would always be there, same thing when I had his Kuya.

Joaqui loves to play with tools, while Dom is into kitchen/ tea sets. They are at their happiest every time they will play, and that brings happiness to my mom and dad. Oh how we miss them already. I really hope that they will come here again this year. I can't help but plan another trip when they arrive. The kids miss their grand parents too, that my son would always ask me if they are coming home soon. Oh how I wish everything is that easy !

Arts and crafts Class this summer

He is so proud to show off his 1st masterpiece from their class. I wasn't able to go inside the room to take his pictures so I made him pose for the camera when we had our breakfast at McDonalds. Each embellishment has their own name, and I love how he told me that Mommy, daddy and dominique were the ones in the other side.

I take him to class three times a week and I stay there and wait for him for one hour. Last Friday, after I dropped him off, I went around the area and I was happy to see some food establishments and stalls that sells cheap prices. I was able to get door mats at 25 pesos each! I am looking forward to some shopping moments while I wait for his classes to finish .

Last week, I celebrated my birthday and mother's day too. The husband gave me a new cellphone since my phone suddenly got busted. He also got me a new bag that I have been dreaming lately. There's no way I can ask for another gift, so I am saving up my money for the remaining item in my wishlist, and that is a notebook computer. I am on the go starting this june and I will be out of the house until lunch time, so I want to make my waiting time productive by working on my online tasks. My mom has a netbook and I tried it out the last time we travelled together! It is just perfect! Handy, compact and efficient. The battery life is unbelievable too. I need to use my shopping powers so I can find the best deals soon!

Basketball crazy

My little girl was inspired by his big brother to play basketball. Last Monday, we went to the mall for my simple birthday celebration. We spent a good 1 hour at Timezone where my kids had a grand time playing their fave games. I even bumped into my friend who was also with her family that time . She noticed that I really lost weight and asked me if i am taking a top diet pill. Of course, I said no. My kids are my daily exercise. It is certainly not a joke to take care of 2 kids! But I have to say that my twice a week workout helped a lot too! I jsu hope that my little girl will also shed a few pounds before she turns 3 years old.

no to eczema

Last year, we discovered that my son has an allergic reaction with fishes. He loves eating fish even before, so I find it weird that it is only lately that he developed the allergies. At first we thought it was eczema. His face has swollen red patches, tha I truly feel sad seeing him that way . We went to the hospital's emergency room to treat him right away as I fear that he will have a hard time to breath with the allregies. He was given a few medicines then , but after a while the allergies came back. That was the time that we consulted a pediatric - allergologist. A skin test was performed, and there, he's allergic to fish. I am grateful he doesn't have eczema. He just needs to stay away from eating fish for now. Hopefully he can outgrow this allergy.

Too busy

May is truly one of my favorite. Aside from being my birthday month, it is also our town fiesta and family outings are all lined up! My offline life is busy once more. I sleep late as I do my mommy duties and prepare for our events. No regrets though as I seldom be with some of our relatives. Maybe the only sad part is - i get some breakouts lately at my forehead! I hope that I will not get those acne treatmentin the market, maybe this is just because i'm sleeping late recently, it may not really be an acne. I plan to go to my derma next week to check my skin and to have a facial too. Time for a little pampering for myself!

Vacation, here I come

Work has been a big load lately, that I would always stay up late to finish up things. I am gratefull for the opprtunities coming my way, but you know, I feel restless too from all these so I would really want a quick vacation soon. I would love to go to the beach with my husband not just to unwind but to celebrate our anniversary too. I would like to take the opportunity that we will be away from the kids for a few days.

The caribbean hotels is on the top of my list because I have seen wonderful pictures not just of the hotel interiors but the beachfront as well. I am a true beach lover so whenever we go to different beaches, I certainly enjoy what nature has to offer. Have you heard about the Ocho Rios hotels? A friend of mine stayed there for their anniversary trip too, and he can't help but say only the nice words about the place. It was indeed a paradise according to her. It got me really curious that I immediately went over their pictures and looked at the internet too for some other information. It looks promising to me! Maybe I should try to contact them immediately to see if they still have availability on my chosen dates. These all inclusive hotels certainly catches my attention as I always feel that I need not to worry about anything. From the accomodations, amenities, services, food.. everything is well taken care of. Now, I just need to ask my husband for his suggestions so I can reserve for our stay before these hotels get fully booke
