Inflatables on parties

Since i already booked the venue for the first birthday of my daughter, i am also searching online for some items that are hit now during kiddie parties. Aside from the usual magicians and entertainers, I am thinking of getting an inflatable to add fun to the event. Water Slide Rentals are one of the new ones being offered now , but since i dont ahve a space for this , i might get some other models that could fit our theme. These are just for Party Rentals since it would cost me an arm and leg to buy one . I found an interesting site already with lots of inflatable designs for rent, and some are not just for parties but for Corporate events too.

So far that makes the list of the people who told us that Joaqui looks like Santino of "May Bukas Pa".. Hahaha! There were times that I can see some resemblance in their eyes, the way they stare and look at people.. yeah , basically with the eyes and the slim figure i guess. Here's his pic today when we had dinner for Dominique's 5th month.

Now tell me, Should I include you in this list?

I am planning to grow his hair a little longer to look like Santino more Hahaha. But i have to think about it since its summer now here in my part of the world.

Oh well, gotta go now. I just made a little update in all of my blogs because its been a while since I last posted. I am still busy with some house chores (usual palusot) and im looking for some moving companies to hire too. Til next time!

The Kuya

Having 2 kids can be soo tiring , but seeing them like this melts my heart away. Joaqui is really taking the role of being the older brother, I would often hear him say "She's my sister", "Dont eat your hand, Kuya will get mad" , "Look at me Dominique, Im Kuya Joaqui".. He really changed a lot eversince we had the lil girl.

Every morning , he's filled with so much joy and happiness when he wakes up. Since I sleep in their midst, he would often tell me, " Excuse me mom, I wanna see sister".. "Is she Up???" .. So i would reply, "No.. still sleeping". He would ask me over and over again, til his voice gets loud and the Dominique will be up in no time , LOL. Imagine, I still have to fix the baby bedding and my 2 kids are already playing in bed. Anyway...

I hope and pray that they will grow together as really good friends. I know its a bit hard as they will really soon be quarreling over stuff around the house. Oh well, i better be geared for that.

Part preps for joaqui's 3rd

In a few weeks time, Joaquin will celebrate his 3rd birthday with the kids of Hospicio de San Jose. I feel excited with this one , as this will be our first time to share a special day with these kids. Here's a list of what I accomplished and what needs to be done:

1. Called and made a schedule with Hospicio de San Jose for the party. Requested for 50 kids to join us .

2. Booked Jollibee Mendiola for the food and entertainment. Thanks to Abie for this one. She's a pro when it comes to this kind of party so she recommended this branch as this is the nearest to the orphanage. Got Spag, Yum and drinks for the merienda . I also ordered a small cake from them. Then I got 2 mascots - Jollibee and Popo , but im still thinking of getting Hetty as i find her really cute, hahaa! I paid a little something for the party add ons like prizes for the games , 30 pcs balloons , etc.

3. Need to finalize my super limited guests. As in limited, i think mga 15 lang kami siguro. Need to confirm with Hospicio if we can be 20 :)

4. Buy loots bags and stuff at 168 on Saturday. Il grab a few toys and school supplies, oh and candies too. Might get the backpacks from Divi like what Mich used for Alex's bday. Then I plan to get those Mickey and Minnie Mouse tin cans at 168 too for Joaqui's cousins. My boy is still crazy with Mickey mouse.

5. My mom sent Joaqui and Dominique new clothes for the birthday. Hahaha! Excited ang lola. ( She also sent a toy for the princess , something like a barcode scanner . Cute! )

6. Im thinking on where to have dinner after the party , We plan to invite some relatives to join us since we cant invite them all at Hospicio.


Hope im not missing out something since this is just a simple one . I know that my boy will have a grand time with other kids. This is something new for us, and hopefully we can continue this in the coming years. This is our way of sharing to others God's blessings , and this is our way of thanking HIM for another year in my child's life.
